If you take the time to listen to the music that I make.... hint...hint, you will find that I write and record music that spans many genres and styles. I pretty much make music by the old "Neil Young" method. I get inspired... I write a song...I immediately record it... and when I'm done with that session (usually the same day) the song is finished as far as I'm concerned, and it's time to move on...heh..heh. To many takes... spoils the track, I say.
I like to hear some rawness in recordings. This is the meat and potatoes of any record...the grinding pace of laying down the tracks adds the sweat of a performance to the tape reels, and captures the vibe of that particular session.

I compare it to "painting" with sounds. Soundscapes.... if you like. I'm no fan of computer generated backing tracks that are polished off with computer enhanced vocals and then digitally compressed until your hamster likes it. Nope... that's not for me.
The power of music comes from the "ideas" the inspiration! The tuning in to that creative ethereal consciousness that is humming in the stratosphere. For one moment your locked into another world... another way of hearing things... melodies and harmonies that you would never have written. Yeah... that's what music is to me. Going for broke...reaching for another level of expression. Whether it's making "retro" rock... or Progressive Jazz Fusion tinged compositions. They all come from the same space... just like RadioHead.
So.. have a listen. Discover new sounds...and old. All of my records & albums push the boundaries in some way... and to me that's what it's all about. I like to keep it interesting and throw some new slant in the structure, or blend in some different soundscapes or styles then you've heard before. A cocktail of "Tones" Have a drink...
